Run your event from the Lock Screen
For producers and show callers. Put your run of show on the Lock Screens of your five key crew, and move everyone together with one word.
Before you start
- Claude connected to Startr. Do this first (10 minutes, once).
- Your run of show: a spreadsheet, a doc, or a PDF.
- Five key crew on iPhone, for example stage manager, AV and lighting, green room, emcee, registration.
The week before
Get your crew ready
- Ask your five crew leads to install Startr. Copy this:
Hi! For the event I'll be sending live run-of-show updates straight to your iPhone Lock Screen, so you always know what's next. Please install the free Startr app before then: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/startr-agent-cards-habits/id6791654090 On the day, I'll text you a link. Tap it and choose Follow cue. That's all you need to do.
They must install Startr before tapping your invite. Startr is iPhone-only today.
Load-in or rehearsal
Test it once
- In Claude: Start a Startr Cue card called "Rehearsal" with the first three segments of this run of show: [paste it].
- On your iPhone: Settings › Agent Cards › Shared Cue › Share Rehearsal › Send invite. Send it to one crew lead; they tap it and choose Follow cue.
- Say next and check their card moves. Then say end the card.
Show day
One card per block
- Start the morning block: Here is today’s run of show: [paste it]. Start a Startr Cue card for the morning block. Headline is the current segment, the status says what the crew needs to do, and include a countdown to the next segment. When I say next, advance one cue. +5 pushes the countdown five minutes; hold pauses at the current cue.
- Share it and send the invite to your crew leads.
- At lunch, ask Claude to end the morning card with what's next, start the afternoon block, and send the new invite. Cards last up to eight hours.

Show day
If something doesn't work
A crew member can't join
They need Startr installed before tapping the link. Then tap it again and choose Follow cue.
The card isn't showing
Live Activities must be on in Settings › Startr. Late joiners see the card at your next update.
Can attendees follow along?
Not yet. Sharing is for a crew of five today. An audience version is on our roadmap.
Is this a replacement for radios?
No. It keeps everyone on the same cue quietly, but keep your radios for anything urgent or safety-related.
